Canine blood donation sessions take place across the year at Blue House Veterinary Centre, Stoke-on-Trent. If your dog meets the donation criteria and you live near this practice, please register them for this session.

We’re really sorry, dogs who have received a transfusion are unable to become blood donors. This is because they may have developed antibodies in their blood that could cause a serious reaction if that blood was donated and given to another dog. We understand that owners whose dogs have received a transfusion often want to give back so there are plenty of other ways you can help us!

We’re really sorry, only dogs who have never left the UK or Ireland can donate. This is because there are a number of blood borne diseases in dogs which are present in other countries but not yet prevalent in the UK. However, there are plenty of other ways you can help us!
