As a charity, Pet Blood Bank UK relies on the generosity of pet owners and veterinary professionals who give up their time to support our work in a number of ways.  Ways to help include:

Volunteering to help at collection sessions

Helping at our collection sessions can be very rewarding.  You get to meet the doggy donors and their owners and to look after them during the session.  Register as a volunteer

Find your nearest blood collection session.

Volunteer to help at the Pet Blood Bank Centre

A range of administration tasks need to be done at our office and processing unit in Loughborough from booking appointments to sending out collection tins.  If you live near Loughborough and would like to help we would love to hear from you.  Register as a volunteer

Spread the word about Pet Blood Bank amongst pet owners

Do you know somebody with a dog that would be suitable to donate blood?  Tell them about Pet Blood Bank.  Like our Facebook page and spread the word amongst your friends about the need for donor dogs to be put forward.

If you attend dog shows or other events where lots of pet owners will be present, you can volunteer to give out leaflets about Pet Blood Bank or even represent us on a stall.  If you would like to volunteer on behalf of Pet Blood Bank in this way, please contact us.
