Pet Blood Bank Blood on GMTV

PBBuk made another television appearance on a special GMTV Scotland news feature which brought a donor and recipient together for the first time.

Rosie, a bearded Collie had recently had her spleen removed in an operation at the University of Glasgow Small Animal Hospital and would not have survived the procedure had there not been life saving blood products available through PBBuk. 

Rosie received her blood from Kai, Pauline Aitken's German Shepherd who visited the Blood Drive in Stirling for the first time in November and this week, the two dogs were brought together for this special broadcast.

So far, the Pet Blood Bank UK has received 300 donations which amounts to 800 units of blood.
