Become a donor
There are a number of ways you can get involved in helping PBBuk; whether your pet becomes a donor or you (and your pet) become a supporter in other ways.

Become a donor
If you would like your pet to be considered as a donor there are certain criteria they need to meet.

  • Donors should have a good temperament,
  • be aged between one and eight years old,
  • weigh more than 25 kilos
  • should not have travelled abroad
  • should be up-to-date on all vaccinations
  • should be fit and healthy

And at the present time you’ll need to be able to attend one of our blood drives which will be held within a 2 hour drive of Loughborough.

Each of our donors will be provided with a full haematology and biochemistry profile on an annual basis.  This underlines our commitment to animal welfare, not only ensuring donors are healthy but also helping the owner build up a good picture of their dog’s blood profile to help them pick up on important changes in their health over the years

If you have questions about your pet becoming a donor why not visit our FAQs pagewhere we hopefully have the answer to all of your queries.

We value our donors immensely and each one of our donors becomes one of Harry’s Heroes.  Harry is our charity mascot, to find out more about him and his heroes click here.
