Award-winning animal charity, Pet Blood Bank UK, is recruiting for the newly created post of Donor Supervisor who will report into the Managing Director and supervise the day to day activities of the Pet Blood Bank Donor Administration Team.
With strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, the successful candidate will be confident in their ability to effectively supervise the Donor Administration Team in their day to day activities, ensuring there is appropriate rota cover for donor sessions and that donor sessions are suitably attended. The Donor Supervisor is a supportive role: you will deal with and help resolve any session issues that may arise whilst ensuring that excellent working relationships are maintained and strengthened between both internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll be an experienced Supervisor, ideally within the veterinary industry or a sector requiring a high degree of compliance and transparency which will meet the standards of rigorous external auditing. A confident user of all Microsoft Office packages, the successful candidate will also have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, a proactive and enthusiastic approach and an aptitude for team work. The ability to empathise with the pet owning public is essential. Some travel is expected and therefore it is essential you hold a clean, full driving licence. You are also required to participate in the On-Call Rota for product supply and distribution
This role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week. Working hours and pattern will be discussed in more detail at interview. The position also attracts 30 days’ annual leave (inclusive of public holidays).
