The Role
We are recruiting for the position of Collection Kit Assistant to join our growing team. Based at our Loughborough site, this new role has been created to support the expansion of our service and ensure our teams and customers continue to receive a high-quality, reliable experience. As a key member of the Collection Department, you will be responsible for the care, cleaning, maintenance, and restocking of all collection kits and associated equipment, working closely with the Collection and Logistics Departments to guarantee the accurate and timely supply of consumables and equipment.

What you’ll do
- Follow all processes and procedures related to collection kit management, equipment, stock, temperature monitoring, and donation sessions.
- Coordinate with departments to plan accurate and timely collection kit supply and maintain rota information.
- Prepare kits for dispatch, ensuring correct packing, labelling, booking out of stock, and documentation.
- Maintain and account for all kits, reporting and investigating any damage or faults.
- Maintain equipment supply through unpacking, storage, cleaning, and restocking to required standards.
- Liaise with approved suppliers for equipment servicing, maintenance, and PAT testing.
- Ensure correct equipment labelling, record-keeping, calibration, and routine maintenance as per internal processes.
- Work with Logistics to maintain stock levels and place orders based on usage and forecasting, manage stock rotation, expiry monitoring, booking out and return of consumables and equipment
- Maintain clean, compliant working and storage areas in line with GMP standards.
- Adhere to all regulatory legislation and support Quality Department requirements.
- Prepare, stock, and drive PBB vehicles, including large vans.
- Build effective working relationships across departments including remote teams.
- Perform manual handling tasks.
- Complete general administrative tasks to support departments.
- Attend events to promote PBB and support donor recruitment.

This role is working 30 hours per week Monday – Friday at our Loughborough site. Working hours can be discussed at interview but are anticipated to be between 9am and 5pm.
