About the speakers

Emma Donnelly BSC(Hons) BVMS DECVECC MRCVS

After graduating from the University of Glasgow, Emma undertook a rotating internship at Vets Now Glasgow where she developed a love of emergency and critical care. Following this, Emma undertook an emergency and critical care internship followed by a residency in emergency and critical care between 2015 and 2018. Emma has lectured at IVECCS, BAVECC and LVS conferences and she joined the ECC team at Vets Now Manchester in the summer of 2018. Emma enjoys all aspects of emergency and critical care and has a particular interest in paediatric emergency patients and sepsis.

Neus Elias LMV Pg Cert Cert AVP (ECC) DECVECC MRCVS

Neus graduated from The Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2009, and then completed a rotating internship at the university before working in a referral hospital for a year in Barcelona. On moving to the UK, Neus worked in first opinion practice in Liverpool for two years before beginning an emergency and critical care internship at the Vets Now 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Glasgow. In January 2020, Neus completed a residency in emergency and critical care with the ECC team at Vets Now Glasgow.
