At Pet Blood Bank, we like our donors to be as relaxed as possible during their donation appointment. Some dogs may be nervous on their first visit, which is understandable as this is a new experience. Many of the things your dog will experience when coming along to give blood will be unfamiliar to them and can require some getting used to. One thing you can do to prepare your dog for becoming a donor and to help them feel comfortable with what will happen is to do some simple training with them in advance.

The training sheets provided on this page will help familiarise your dog with different steps of the donation process so they create a positive and relaxed association with these actions.
