Register your cat

By registering your cat as a blood donor, you will play a vital role in helping to save the lives of other cats.

When we receive your registration, a member of our team will get in touch to talk further about your cat, check their suitability to become a donor, and explain what to expect when you bring them to donate. Your cat’s welfare is always our priority and we want to ensure they will enjoy the donation process.

We are gradually building our donation sessions across the UK as we develop our feline service. We need a minimum of 20 cats in an area for us to hold a session, so please ask your friends to consider registering their cats too.

We’re really sorry, cats who have received a transfusion are unable to become blood donors. This is because they may have developed antibodies in their blood that could cause a serious reaction if that blood was donated and given to another cat. We understand that owners whose cats have received a transfusion often want to give back so there are plenty of other ways you can help us!

Was your cat born outside of the UK or Ireland or have they ever travelled outside the UK or Ireland? *

We’re really sorry, only cats who have never left the UK or Ireland can donate. This is because there are a number of blood borne diseases in cats which are present in other countries but not yet prevalent in the UK. However, there are plenty of other ways you can help us!
