RVN | South Area Supervisor

Lisa is our South Area Supervisor, meaning that she manages the teams for donation sessions, arranges events Pet Blood Bank can attend, and aims to raise awareness of Pet Blood Bank in the wider area. Lisa qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012 and has worked mainly in first opinion small animal practice. Before starting with Pet Blood Bank, Lisa worked as an emergency and critical care nurse for Vets Now, which gave her an insight into the lifesaving work that Pet Blood Bank do.

What Lisa loves most about working for Pet Blood Bank:

'I feel incredibly proud and lucky to have been given the opportunity to work for such an amazing charity and to be able to contribute to the lifesaving work that Pet Blood Bank does. It makes me smile to see how happy the donors are at donation sessions and how proud their owners are of them. I love that the welfare of our donors is the number one priority and I feel privileged to have met, and continue to keep meeting, these wonderful superheroes!'

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, especially going for outdoor walks and days out. Lisa is kept busy at home with her two cats and two rabbits, which she has accumulated from her work over the years. The newest addition to Lisa's family is Boxer puppy Oakley, who will hopefully grow up to become a blood donor for Pet Blood Bank.
