Our night at the Pawscars!
This March, during another exciting week at Crufts, we were kindly hosted at the Pawscars Awards and received a fantastic £5,000 donation from the Peek A Boo Trust.
The Pawscars annual awards night is a celebration of the showing world and all the amazing people and dogs that represent it. Our Trustees Peter and Harvey attended the night to accept the generous donation and raise awareness of our work.
Managing Director of Pet Blood Bank UK, Katrina Wilkinson said: ‘This wonderful donation goes an incredibly long way. Pet Blood Bank is a small charity and always welcomes the help of organisations who work with dogs, so we were honoured to receive this recognition and generous support from the Peek A Boo Trust. It will make a huge difference to our lifesaving work.’
A big thank you to Gavin Robertson and everyone involved in making the case for us! Every penny received makes a difference, and goes directly back into the charity to help us in our mission to keep providing the vital lifesaving blood service that we do – the only one of its kind in the country.
