Canine blood donation sessions take place across the year at Wells Vets. If your dog meets the donation criteria and you live near this practice, please register for a session.

We’re really sorry, dogs who have received a transfusion are unable to become blood donors. This is because they may have developed antibodies in their blood that could cause a serious reaction if that blood was donated and given to another dog. We understand that owners whose dogs have received a transfusion often want to give back so there are plenty of other ways you can help us!
