Our first very own virtual fundraising challenge is here, Around the Coast in 30 Days, running 13 September until 12 October. Join us by walking, running, swimming, or cycling as we aim to reach 11,232 miles and £10,000 together! Every mile you do will count towards our collective target.

Our 11,232 mile virtual route starts and ends at our blood bank in Loughborough, going all around the UK mainland coastline. Every year, we travel thousands of miles to run donation sessions across the country. This blood is then returned to the blood bank where is it processed before once again continuing its journey travelling many more miles to the vet practices where it is needed for critically ill pets. This challenge represents this vast distance and by taking part, you will help to save lives by raising much needed funds.

You don’t need to complete miles for the full 30 days or have been signed up from day 1 to take part, you can set yourself a day challenge (such as a big 10 mile walk/hike or 20 mile cycle), or do miles across a week to help.

As important as our donors are, fundraising is also vital to support the blood bank, so we would love to see as many of you as possible joining in with this fun event.
